Was founded in 2023 by Dr. LaTonya Miller during one of the most challenging periods of her life, and for communities worldwide. As the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped families, careers, and support systems, Dr. Miller experienced both professional disruption and the deeply personal loss of her father.

Was founded in 2023 by Dr. LaTonya Miller during one of the most challenging periods of her life, and for communities worldwide. As the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped families, careers, and support systems, Dr. Miller experienced both professional disruption and the deeply personal loss of her father.
These experiences provided a firsthand understanding of the economic uncertainty, emotional strain, and lack of access to opportunity that many individuals—particularly those in underserved and underrepresented communities—were facing. Rather than allowing hardship to define her path, Dr. Miller made the intentional decision to transform adversity into purpose.
Driven by a lifelong commitment to service, mentorship, and leadership development, she established the Mentor Me Now Foundation to create structured pathways for youth and families to access guidance, career exploration opportunities, workforce readiness training, and personal development support. The foundation reflects both her professional expertise and her personal mission to ensure that individuals are equipped with the tools and encouragement needed to move forward with confidence.
Dr. Miller brings a diverse and credible leadership background to this work. She is a business psychology practitioner, entrepreneur, United States Army veteran, and community leader with experience in leadership facilitation, workforce development programming, and organizational consulting. She also serves as a Captain for the Spectacular Academy, an initiative led by Spectacular Smith, former member of Pretty Ricky, where she contributes to mentorship and entrepreneurship education efforts that support emerging leaders.
Under her leadership, the Mentor Me Now Foundation has positioned itself as a growing workforce pipeline and youth empowerment organization focused on expanding access to career pathways in sports, creative industries, entrepreneurship, and other emerging sectors. Through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and experiential learning opportunities, the foundation continues to build supportive environments where individuals can develop confidence, strengthen professional networks, and pursue meaningful futures.
Today, Dr. Miller’s work honors the legacy of her father’s guidance and service while advancing a broader vision — to empower the next generation to rise with resilience, lead with purpose, and succeed in an evolving workforce.
