Code of Conduct Policy for Mentor Me Now Foundation
Mentor Me Now Foundation (MMNF) is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all of its employees, volunteers, and program participants. This Code of Conduct outlines the expected behavior and standards of conduct that all members of the MMNF community must adhere to. Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or volunteer service.
Professional Conduct
- All employees, volunteers, and program participants must conduct themselves professionally and courteously, treating others with respect and dignity.
- Behavior that is aggressive, abusive, or otherwise disruptive will not be tolerated.
- Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
Ethical Behavior
- All employees, volunteers, and program participants must conduct themselves in an ethical and honest manner.
- Deceptive, fraudulent, or dishonest behavior will not be tolerated.
- Safeguarding confidential information, including personal and program-related data, is of utmost importance. All confidential information must be stored securely and not released to unauthorized personnel.
Respectful Communication
- All employees, volunteers, and program participants must engage in respectful communication with others, including mentors, mentees, and fellow employees and volunteers.
- Disparaging or defamatory comments or behaviors will not be tolerated and are not allowed in any MMNF setting.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations
- All employees, volunteers, and program participants must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
- Any violations of these laws and regulations must be reported to the appropriate authority.
- It is the responsibility of each individual to be aware of and comply with the policies and procedures of the MMNF.
Enforcement
- If an individual is found to have violated this Code of Conduct, they will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or volunteer service.
- All employees, volunteers, and program participants have a responsibility to report violations of this Code of Conduct to the appropriate department head or governing board member.
- All reports of violations will be taken seriously and investigated in a timely manner.
Acknowledgment
- All individuals who participate in an MMNF program or event must acknowledge and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
- Employees and volunteers are required to sign an acknowledgement statement indicating that they have read and understand this Code of Conduct and will comply with its provisions.
