The Mentor Me Now Foundation welcomes individuals who are passionate about empowering youth and strengthening communities through mentorship, leadership development, and career opportunity. Our volunteers play a vital role in supporting programs that help young people build confidence, explore career pathways, and develop the skills needed to succeed in school, careers, and life.
As a volunteer mentor or program volunteer, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of youth by providing guidance, encouragement, and support as they pursue personal, academic, and professional goals.
Volunteer mentors provide direct support to youth participants by offering guidance, encouragement, and leadership development. Services may include:
Mentors typically commit to meeting with their mentees for 1–2 hours per week. All mentors participate in a screening process, including a background check, and complete training to ensure they are prepared to effectively support program participants.
Volunteers also support community programs, youth initiatives, and events that help expand opportunities for the Mentor Me Now community.
Assist with organizing youth programs, mentorship activities, workshops, and community events.
Welcome attendees, assist with check-in, provide information, and help create a welcoming environment for participants and families.
Assist facilitators with distributing materials, guiding participants, managing activities, and supporting youth engagement during workshops and programs.
Help promote programs and connect with community members, partners, and potential participants.
Assist with fundraising events, donation management, sponsorship outreach, and community campaigns that support foundation programs.
Help create content, promote events, and capture moments through photography and video to highlight the impact of Mentor Me Now programs.
Assist with preparing event spaces, setting up materials, arranging seating, decorating, and supporting event breakdown after completion.
Support youth activities connected to sports, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and creative industries such as fashion, media, and innovation projects.
Assist with coordinating youth showcases, fashion shows, and creative presentations by helping with backstage organization, participant coordination, and program flow.
Volunteering with the Mentor Me Now Foundation is a meaningful way to give back while helping youth discover their strengths, build leadership skills, and pursue opportunities for a brighter future.
